SECTION 01

Rider Requirements

Age & License

Riders must be 18 or older. Valid government-issued ID required at signup. Compliance with NARSA and local municipal regulations is enforced.

Physical Fitness

Riders must be able to safely operate the vehicle. No medical conditions that would impair balance, vision, or reaction time.

Sobriety

Zero tolerance for riding under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Violations result in immediate account suspension and reporting per local law.

App Verification

Identity verified before first ride. Phone number and payment method linked. One account per rider, no sharing.

Before You Ride

Helmet

Strongly recommended for all rides. Mandatory in campus zones and university partnerships. Bring your own or use Elyra-provided helmets at designated hubs.

Pre-Ride Check

The app guides you through brake, tire, and light verification before unlock. Report any defects. We replace or remove the vehicle immediately.

Weather Awareness

Reduced speed in rain. Service paused during storms, high winds, or severe weather. Real-time alerts in-app.

Know Your Route

Familiarize yourself with bike lanes and designated zones. Plan ahead. Avoid high-traffic roads when alternatives exist.

On the Road

Traffic Rules

Follow all local traffic laws. Ride in bike lanes where available. Same rules as bicycles. You are a vehicle operator.

Speed Limits

25 km/h maximum. Auto-reduced near schools, pedestrian zones, and restricted areas. Geofencing enforced by the vehicle.

Swarm Intelligence

AI shares hazard data across the fleet in real time. Potholes, obstacles, and incident locations propagate to all riders. Safer routes, fewer surprises.

Pedestrian Priority

Always yield to pedestrians. Dismount in crowded areas, markets, and sidewalks. You are a guest in shared space.

Parking & Community

Designated Hubs

Park only in marked Elyra zones. Improper parking triggers warnings and fees. We work with cities to ensure adequate hub coverage.

Sidewalk Clearance

Never block walkways, ramps, or building entrances. Leave 1.5 m clearance. Accessibility is non-negotiable.

End-Ride Photo

Snap a photo to confirm proper parking. Protects you from improper parking claims. Required for ride completion.

Report Issues

Flag damaged scooters or unsafe parking via the app. We respond within hours. Community reporting keeps the fleet reliable.

Emergency Protocol

In-App SOS

One-tap emergency button connects to local services. Location shared automatically. Available 24/7 in all operating cities.

Accident Reporting

Document and report through the app within 24 hours. Photos, location, and witness details. Required for insurance claims.

Insurance Coverage

AtlantaSanad third-party liability for compliant riders. Covers bodily injury and property damage. Full terms in-app and at signup.
