What is a "Digital Twin" Cookie?
State-Sync Cookies
Unlike standard tracking cookies, Elyra uses State-Sync Cookies. These allow our website to maintain a secure, real-time connection with your active scooter session.
Purpose
To visualize your "Digital Twin" (current battery, location, and safety status) on your personal dashboard.
Duration
These are "Session Cookies" that expire automatically 30 minutes after you log out.

Analytics & Swarm Performance
Self-Hosted Analytics
We use a self-hosted analytics suite to monitor how our web interface communicates with the HiveMQ MQTT Broker.
Latency Tracking
We measure how long it takes for a "Pothole Alert" to travel from our server to your screen.
Heatmap Data
We collect anonymized clicks to understand which parts of the campus map are most useful to our riders.

Managing Your Preferences
Essential Only
You can opt-out of all non-essential analytics via the "Privacy Shield" in your account settings.
Browser Control
You can set your browser to block all cookies, though this will disable the "Live Swarm View" on your dashboard.
Data Sovereignty
All telemetry data is stored in compliance with Moroccan Law 09-08 and the CNDP. We do not track you once you leave the elyra.ma or elyra.io domain.
